This Payment Policy explains how payments are made, processed, reviewed, and managed on TopStore eMarket. It also outlines the rules that apply to customer payments, vendor payouts, payment verification, and dispute-related fund handling.

Accepted Payment Methods

TopStore eMarket may accept payment methods such as MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, Zamtel Money, Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer, and any other payment option made available at checkout. Available payment methods may vary depending on the customer, order type, product, or operational setup at the time of purchase.

Secure Payment Processing

All payments made through TopStore eMarket are processed through approved and trusted payment channels or service providers made available on the platform.

TopStore eMarket takes reasonable steps to support secure payment handling and transaction monitoring, but the platform may also rely on third-party providers and partners for payment processing, validation, settlement, or related transaction services.

Section 3

Customer Payment Responsibility

By making a payment on TopStore eMarket, the customer confirms that they are authorized to use the selected payment method and that the payment information provided is accurate and lawful. Fraudulent use of payment methods, attempted charge abuse, false payment claims, or dishonest transaction conduct is strictly prohibited.

Section 4

Payment Confirmation

Orders may be treated as confirmed only after successful payment authorization, payment confirmation, or approval in line with the applicable payment process used on the platform.

TopStore eMarket may delay order progression, suspend processing, or require further review where payment is pending, incomplete, reversed, disputed, suspicious, or otherwise not successfully verified.

Vendor Payout Timing

Vendor payouts are not made immediately upon customer payment. Vendor funds are released only after the relevant order has been successfully delivered, confirmed where applicable, reconciled, and internally approved in accordance with TopStore eMarket processes.

This approach helps support delivery verification, customer protection, refund handling, dispute management, and operational accuracy before funds are made available for payout.

Section 6

Holds, Delays, and Payment Review

TopStore eMarket may hold, delay, review, or restrict a payment or payout where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, dispute handling, compliance review, refund processing, reconciliation, failed delivery review, suspicious transaction activity, or other operational or legal concerns.

Such action may apply to customer transactions, vendor payouts, or other related fund flows where platform protection or compliance review requires further verification.

Section 7

Refund-Related Payments

Where a refund is approved under the applicable Refund & Return Policy, TopStore eMarket will aim to process the refund within the stated platform timeline. However, the actual time for the funds to reflect may depend on the customer’s bank, mobile money provider, card issuer, or payment channel.

Section 8

Payment Disputes

Where a payment dispute, complaint, reversal claim, or transaction concern arises, TopStore eMarket may investigate the matter and take temporary action on the transaction or related payout while the issue is under review.

Users are expected to cooperate with reasonable requests for transaction information, order details, proof of payment, or supporting records during payment-related investigations.

Section 9

Transaction Accuracy

Customers and vendors must ensure that payment-related information submitted on the platform is accurate. Incorrect names, phone numbers, payout details, reference information, or transaction data may result in payment failure, delay, reversal, or additional review before processing can continue.

Section 10

Platform Rights in Payment Handling

TopStore eMarket reserves the right to decline, suspend, review, reverse, or otherwise manage transactions and payout processing where reasonably necessary to protect customers, vendors, the platform, and compliance obligations. Nothing in this policy limits any legal or regulatory requirement that may apply to payment handling.
